Nepal's Participation in TTAA Fair


Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), together with Nepal Airlines and Nepalese Tour Operators, participated in the Thai Travel Agents Association and Association of Domestic Traveler (TTAA& ADT) International Travel Fair 2007 in Bangkok, Thailand, held from 1st to 4th March 2007.

Thai travelers got a right venue to explore various pilgrimage, holiday, and adventure travel options. The highlight of Visit Pokhara Year 2007 was also a major attraction in the show. The Fair was a one-roof travel show where many visitors and exhibitors from the globe shared same passion for travel. With more than 200 tour operators, hotel/resorts, airlines, and travel media; the show registered the presence of 21000 travel enthusiasts.
The response towards the destination Nepal was quite encouraging after the changed context. Nepal stand at the fair tremendously received various queries on Nepal's changed political context and various tourism attractions. To project the myriad image of Nepal in a distinctive way, Nepal's participation in the fair was focused on the theme of New Tourism Brand Unleash Yourself.... Naturally Nepal - once is not enough.
The visitors had mainly enquired about Lumbini, Kathamndu, and Pokhara. NTB official Mr. Deepak R Joshi, answered the queries made by visitors. Nepal's tourism brand 'Naturally Nepal..... once is not enough'' was highly appreciated and liked by the visitors. The sub-tagline '...once is not enough' was endorsed by the visitors as the words 'perfectly fit' for Nepal.

The fair was inaugurated by Lt. Dr. Suvit Yodmani, Minister of Tourism and Sports, Thailand on 1st march 2007. After the inauguration the Minister visited Nepal Stall too. Secretary for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Mr. Madhav P Ghimire, Charge De Affairs' for Embassy of Nepal Mr. Arjun K. Mainali, TTAA President Mr. Anake Srishevachart made an exclusive visit to Nepal stand on 13th of January 2007.

Dolpa Treks and Trailbrazer were the two companies from Nepal which showcased their products in (TTAA& ADT).
