19th Grand Annual Rafting Festival will be held on 26th May 2007
Nepal Association of Rafting Agents(NARA) going to announce that our 19th Grand Annual Rafting Festival will be held on 26th May 2007. We have been operating such kind of festival since 1989 to promote the domestic tourism. The fund raised out of this festival will be used for upgrading rafting industry, the river guide training, setting up the facilities for tourists at various appropriate places by the river banks, saving the river environments etc.
We are here by banking on your support and co-operation from you and all the travel related organizations/firms to make the event successful.
The association has been organizing festival every year with the objective to spread awareness and promote rafting to a wider domestic and international public.
Started with only 75 participants in its inception, the festival has been successful in attracting around 750 participation both foreigners as well locals in the festival till date.
Participation fee NRs 1299 including two way transportation from Kathmandu - Trisuli, 2 hours of exciting rafting and lunch after the rafting in the musical environment at riverside.
