This trek brings you the very great view of four 8000m peaks (Mt. Everest-8848m, Cho
Oyu-8153m, Lhotse - 8516m and Makalu - 8463m). This is also the famous traditional route to Everest Base Camp trek.
Your trekking preparation:
This trek is considered as a non-technical trek and suitable for average people. If you
are moderately fit and have a sense of adventure will enjoy this trek. The program
is designed to acclimatize you gradually and not expected high altitude sickness. However you are requested to check your altitude fitness and the itinerary.
We suggest you to strengthen your knee muscles and prepare for several days of
steep descents. Some physical fitness programs such as running, swimming, biking
or aerobics is recommended, but mostly hiking on steep hills or running up and down
steps are preferable. Please note that the following program is prepared in the fact
basis however things can be change in some circumstances but adjustments will have to
make during the trekking. We request you to be flexible with the situation to enjoy
yourself.
While the trek is designed for teahouse arrangement, our professional mountain guide
and porters handle everything. The meal willbe provided in the available restaurant
enroute and accommodations in the available lodges (with most of the days hot/cold
shower) enroute.
Day to day itinerary:
Day 01 Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding -2640m (approx.4-5 hours). over night at Guest House
Day 02 Trek to Namche-3446m approximate 6-7
hours on the way entry point of Sagarmatha Conservation Over night at Lodge or Guest
House
Day 03 Rest at Namche for acclimatization. You may walk to the National Park headquarters or Khumjung Village for splendid views of Mt. Everest from Everest
View Hotel.
Day 04 Trek to Tyangboche-3867m (approx.6 hours) Visit to Tengboche Monastery Over night at Lodge.
Day 05 Trek to Monjo Over night at Lodge.
Day 06 Trek to Lukla Over night at Lodge.
Day 07 Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, trip ends...
