This 12-day trek brings you to the Gokyo Lakes Valley up the Dudh Kosi river from the Sherpa villages of Namche Bazaar and Khumjung. It is less touristy area than the traditional route to Kala Pattar and EVerst Base Camp.

The day-hike to the Gokyo Ri-5483m on day 7th allows you to look down on the vast Ngozumpa Glacier and have the great views of four of the world's ten highest peaks Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu and Makalu. Our return route to Namche Bazaar will be via the Sherpa villages of Phortse and the great Tengboche Monastery. 
   
Your trekking preparation:  
This trek is considered as a non-technical trek and suitable for average people. If you are moderately fit and have a sense of adventure will enjoy this trek. The program is designed to acclimatize you gradually and not expected high altitude sickness. However you are requested to check your altitude fitness and the itinerary. We suggest you to strengthen your knee muscles and prepare for several days of steep descents. Some physical fitness programs such as running, swimming, biking or aerobics is recommended, but mostly hiking on steep hills or running up and down steps are preferable. Please note that the following program is prepared in the fact basis however things can be change in some circumstances but adjustments will have to make during the trekking. We request you to be flexible with the situation to enjoy yourself.While the trek is designed for teahouse arrangement, our professional mountain guide and porters handle everything. The meal will be provided in the available restaurant enroute and accommodations in the available
lodges (with most of the days hot/cold shower) enroute.

Day to day itinerary:
Day 01: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding-2850m (approximate 4-5 Hour) Over night at Lodge
Day 02: Trek to Namche bazar-3440m (approximate 4-5 Hour) Over night at Lodge
Day 03: Acclimatization day in Namche and a day hike to thame village where is Shepa village and visit to Tame Monastery Over night at Lodge
Day 04: Trek to Dole-4085m (approximate 5-6 Hours) and Over night at Lodge
Day 05: Trek to Machhermo-4410m (Approximate 2 hr) and Over night at Lodge
Day 06: Trek to Gokyo lake -4750m (approximate 4hr) and Over night at Lodge
Day 07: Excursion to Gokyo Ri-5483m and return trek to Machermo (7-8 hr) and Over night at Lodge
Day 08: Trek to Phortse-3840m (approximate 4-5 Hour) and Over night at Lodge
Day 09: Trek to Tyanboche-3790m(approximate 5-6 hr) and Over night at Lodge
Day 10: Trek to Monju-2850m (approximate 7-8 Hour) and Over night at Lodge
Day 11: Trek to Lukla (approximate 4 Hour) and Over night at Lodge
Day 12: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu, trip ends...
