Balephi Khola Rafting:
The Balephi Khola is one of the smaller tributaries of the Sun Koshi, joining that river a short distance upstream of Dolalghat and only a long 70 km from Kathmandu. The river rises on the southern slopes of Dorje Lakpa (6990 m) one of the mountains to the north east of Kathmandu and at the head of the Lang tang valley. It is a fairly typical fast flowing, Himalayan River with steep valley sides.   

Balephi Khola is one of the fantastic rivers of Nepal which is a short, fun trip, close distance from  Kathmandu with the feel of a mini whitewater expedition in high water session in Bhalebhi Jalbire Sukute section you can find the numerous technical rapids, boulder-garden rapids, an unspoiled valley and good mountain views. 

For rafting this is an intense, fun tight, technical and active trip however it does need the right water level so is only possible for a couple of months each years in high water season. Here below we offer a short a day whitewater rafting in Nepal.

Balephi Khola Itinerary:
Day 01: Proceed to Balebhi khola put in point around 07 am. in the morning by private transport arranged by Rafting Operator. It takes about 03.30 hours to drive to starting point of rafting After reached put in point at Cchanaute- Jalbire in Bhalephi khola, then blowup raft same time the trip leader hand out and explain the equipment and some commands we will use to communicate in the river for everyone safety. We will be in the river for three and a half hours, encounter some rapids of Class 4-. We serve lunch end of the trip after rafting at river bank about 3:00 PM. After collecting all the river gear we continue journey back to Kathmandu which takes us about 03 hours.

Cost US$ 80 per person in group join basis,

River wear gear:
Shorts- half pant, T-shirts (long sleep for sun protection), swim wear, Sun Cap/Glass/Cream, personal water bottle, a pair of river sandals.

The care of environment is our prime concern responsibility to protect the wildness resources of Nepal for future generation. We practice and follow minimum impact polices on our every outdoor journey- by using gas or kerosene as a cooking fuel instead of local firewood. Moreover by disposing and cleaning both biodegradable and non-degradable properly from the campsite.
